Dozens and dozens of floats in the streets. Music and dj in every corner of the city. And roads full of boys and girls craving for party and dancing.
Milano (Italy) is preparing for the new “invasion” of the Street Parade, that on the next 25th of June will host the third edition of the big popular feast, already happened in the past years. During the last date the “Milano Street Parade” brought into the streets 30k people and the numbers, this year, will grow for sure.
Place and timig will be the same: Duca D’Aosta square, in front of the Central Station, at 2 pm. Then until midnight everybody will have fun with the various dj that will mix music on the many floats, along the streets of the city.

In 2015, because of Expo, the Milano Street Parade didn’t took place. The 2014 edition saw 40k participations, coming through all Italy, to be present at the second edition (Here you can find the photos). Kermesse during which people danced for 5 kilometers and 9 hours without stop.
“A day of mobilization – declare the organizers about the 2014 edition – that is an answer to the lack of aggregation spaces and entertainment in Milan. We thank the institutions that permitted and supported the manifestation, that unrolled in a peaceful and regular way. Two first aid intervention, one of them was for an ankle distortion”.
Milan projects itself in a european and international dimension, after this kind of events spread and developed as economic and social resources for the big metropolis. At 10 am, the day after the event, after the cleaning trucks passed, the streets were tidy and silent, like a normal day of June, with students, children and old people on the benches and in the meadows.
Intellighenzia Electronica
Intellighenzia Electronica is the main organizer of the event and and association with more of 4 thousands associated that realize electronic music projects. One of their best project is “The sound of silence“, the silent disco that interested more than 80k participants in 3 years, bringing the silent music in the lombard squares. And then Social Music City, international festival of electronic music, during the Expo 2015. Again, “Casa del Popolo Elettronico”, a space dedicated to music and listening inside the project “Oca” (Officine Creative Ansaldo) that then became itinerant. Or also Milano Electronic City, digital art fair with 3 past editions. And, at the end, Artes Milano Street Parade, that in 2013 and 2014 saw 40k participations.
