The Primavera Sound festival has unveiled the poster of his new edition. All the events will take place primarily at “Parc del Forum” in Barcelona from Wednesday 1st to Saturday 4th June, and will be complemented by a large number of concerts in different places of the Raval district, offering music shows throughout the all week. More than 150 bands and artists will impress the audience!

THE ARTISTS
The British band of Radiohead that will present their new album, the comeback of LCD Soundsystem from New York, led by James Murphy, the presence of a rock icon like PJ Harvey, the return to the festival of the australians Tame Impala at the maximum height of their career and the dreamy experimental rock of the Icelandic band Sigur Rós, they are some of the prominent names of a wealthy big star billboard.
The retro-futurist pop of french duo Air, the alliance between Alex Turner and Miles Kane in The Last Shadow Puppets, Brian Wilson who re perform the full version of “Pet Sounds,” the Beach Boys masterpiece, the american dream pop of Beach House, two different shows of British Suede, the Animal Collective experimentation, one of the first live performance of the legendary virtuoso of horror John Carpenter, the post-rock of Explosions In the Sky, the comeback of the hardcore pioneers Drive Like Jehu, the ethno pop of Beirut, the noise rock of the now mythological Dinosaur Jr., the classicism of Richard Hawley and one of the key bands in the development of contemporary independent music that are the Deerhunter, are some of the main attractions of this sixteenth edition.
The festival will host a wide range of artists from one of the most creative genres of the moment, hip hop. Pusha T will present his excellent new album, Action Bronson from New York, Vince Staples (fresh from the success of critic for his 2015 album “Summertime ’06”), the street rap of Freddie Gibbs, hip hop with punk tints of the charged-up Ho99o9 and Jay Rock, one of the West Coast stars of the moment, they’re just some of the proponents of this genre that will play at the Parc del Fòrum.
There will also be the jazz of Kamasi Washington, the name of the year, the math rock of Battles, Julia Holterovvero (the author of one of the most important albums of 2015), the powerful rock of Savages, Dan Bejar with Destroyer and their latest album “Poison Season”, the indie pop of the Daughter, the synth-pop of dynamic Chairlift, the electronic pop of Neon Indian, the former member of the Go-Betweens, Robert Forster and Ben Watt accompanied by Bernard Butler.
The electronics section is led by the german superband Moderat, who will present their new album, Floating Points will bring on the stage “Elaenia” and even the project Pantha du Prince by Hendrick Weber and Kiasmos, the duo formed by Ólafur Arnalds and Janis Rasmussen that will perform their definition of dance music.

The subscription for all the days of Primavera Sound 2016 in Barcelona will cost € 175 until February 3. From February 4 to May 4, the price will be € 185 and since May 5 at the beginning of the festival will be € 195. The outlets are: Ticketmaster, Primavera Sound Portal and La Botiga del Primavera Sound.
All the concerts in the 1st of June (Wed) at the Parc del Fòrum will be free. There are no age limits for the access to the Primavera Sound festival (except for some of the pre-festival and post-festival concerts).
